As soon as I saw this china cabinet, I had a vision. That doesn't always happen but I was seeing dark florals, deep black paint, exposed cherry wood and brass knobs. Then I found the bees! This came together better than I expected. I cut the decorative piece on top and shortened the legs to fit my client's specific space. Motion sensor lights inside elevate this cabinet to another level.

After stripping, sanding and priming (several times - hello bleed through!), I painted it black and decoupage wrapping paper in the back before reinserting the shelves. The drawer was given a cherry stain and some busy little bees. It has a modernized Art Deco look that I just adore.
