This bench is made completely of 2x4s I picked up at Home Depot. With a ton of gluing and clamping, planing and sanding, The piece came together. I wanted a smooth finish on top so I filled any spaces with wood filler and sanded smooth. The final step is a satin polyurethane finish to give it a slight shine.
